hong kong!!! part 1.....
by the way....did anyone listen to the backstreet boys new song, incomplete..... it's really good, now let me tell u abt my hong kong trip with diane.... we were there in march 2005, it was spring in hong kong.... we left on easter and arrived in hong kong at around 8pm.... from there we booked a car which took us to our hotel... shangri-la hotel, kowloon.... our room was beautiful... although our room was not facing the victoria harbour, we could get a glimes of the harbour.... it was very hazy from the rain and cold.... so could not really see the building over at hong kong island.... the next morning, my dearest best friend had to wake me up at 7am.... i could hardly open my eyes... it was very cold, our room window was practically covered with vapour but it was a beautiful morning to start our first offically day of sightseeing and shopping... we left the hotel at abt 8.30am... diane wanted to go to times square in hong kong island.... took a cab there and guess what we arrived there at abt 9am.. and it was not open... we were the only two idiots who were there that early for shopping... i mean even in singapore the shops open after 11am... and in hong kong it was public holiday on easter monday, shops will open after 11 am.... awwww..... so we wait till the cows came home... diane bought lots of stuff for her mother, sister and herself... there was a anna sui shop there selling clothes and bags.... we dun have that here.... later we went to the biggest spirit, it was i think 3 storeys if i am not wrong....... when for lunch at a chinese restaurant... the dunplings and paus were simplily the best... yimmy..... when back to the hotel to rest... i did't buy anything yet only a really nice pink top... at abt s$10, i was waiting to spend all my money at the ladies market...... i love the ladies market i could just camp there.... they have really nice imitation goods live LV, Burberry ... everything u name it... and they are cheap, cheap, cheap.... you can bargin like you never bargin before.... sheena bought lots of LV bags it was grade A, for a really good price... i bought lots of bags for myself, my mother, gransmother and aunty..... i really love the bags... i also bought pretty wallets, a belt, watches and more stuff... it's really cheap... i can't wait to go back to ladies market... the next time i vist hong kong....
